The owners of DD Cheer Factory are passionate about cheerleading being available to anyone who wants to participate. The cheer industry has a reputation of being expensive and a common joke is how parents need to get second jobs or mortgage their homes in order for their kids to take part in this sport they love so much. The DeLorenzos believe cheer should not be a financial burden and do their best to keep registration fees as low as possible in their program. However, much more goes into competitive cheer than just operational expenses, and their goal is to not have to pass those costs down to the families. So, in 2024, they founded a non-profit organization to help families alleviate the financial burden of participating in cheer.

DD Cheer Gemstones:

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized and operated for the charitable purpose of supporting opportunities for cheerleaders at DD Cheer Factory. We believe cheerleading should be accessible and affordable to all youth athletes who want to participate. We are a separate legal entity from DD Cheer Factory, but we work hand in hand to help our DD Cheer Factory cheerleaders and their families offset the cost of activities related to competitive cheerleading so they can continue to participate in the sport they love. In addition to providing fundraising opportunities and scholarships for our athletes, we help maintain the financial viability and sustainability of the organization through general fundraisers.
